Learning from the community is incredibly needed for keeping soccer history alive. Even soccer historians have not captured all the vibrant stories of the American game, or backfilled all the details of eras gone by. Especially, the stories of many immigrant communities have been lost when outside of the major competitions.

Our reproduction of the 1944 U.S. Open Cup Final program is the first of many intended publications, physical & otherwise. By producing these directly, we seek to solidify the record of the sport in this country, and to offer a wider set of people the opportunity to contribute to it. Even those who aren't traditional authors or writers are welcomed & encouraged to get in touch.
